Minister Attaf attends the 9th session of the Ministerial Meeting of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, took part Tuesday, in Beijing (China), in the Ninth Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), co-chaired by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of China and Senegal.
This meeting focused on assessing the progress made in implementing the China-Africa cooperation agenda, notably the various cooperation activities and exchange programs agreed upon in economic, social, scientific and cultural fields.
This meeting also allowed examining the draft outcome from the China-Africa Summit scheduled for September 5 and 6, in particular the draft joint declaration and the draft executive program covering the period from 2025 to 2027.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Attaf held bilateral discussions with his African counterparts, notably the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Tunisia, Mauritania, Libya, Kenya, Uganda, the Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Benin, Tanzania, Djibouti, Somalia, and the Central African Republic.
