Mr Attaf meets in Beijing with Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister

                                                                                                              
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, met on Wednesday in Beijing with the Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, as part of his working visit to China, assigned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The talks between the two ministers focused on the cooperation and partnership relations between the two friendly countries, notably evaluating the progress made in implementing the results of the State visit carried out by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to China in the middle of last year.

The two parties commended the boost given to Algeria-China relations by this visit and the political consensus it has enshrined concerning regional and international developments.

In light of this consensus, Attaf discussed with his Chinese counterpart the different issues presently relevant to both countries, including the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, reaffirming the need to bolster coordination between the delegations of the two countries at the UN Security Council in favor of the Palestinian cause and the inalienable, non-negotiable rights of the Palestinian people.
